NEW HYDE PARK COMPANY HONORED FOR MANUFACTURING EXCELLENCE
Irving, Texas, (February 10, 2009) Gordon Ind. Ltd. (UPIC: GORDON66) of New Hyde Park, New York, was honored with a silver award at the 53rd annual PPAI Suppliers Achievement Awards competition sponsored by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI). Fifty-three winners were recognized for manufacturing excellence during The PPAI Expo 2009 in Las Vegas. The event recognized the 2008 award-winning promotional campaigns, products and services.
"Winning suppliers are honored for their superiority in craftsmanship, graphic arts, creativity, innovation and service to distributors with this award," said Steve Slagle, CAE, PPAI president and CEO. "The winners worked very hard to earn this special recognition and their commitment to excellence is a tribute to this industry."
Gordon Ind. Ltd. was presented a silver award in the category of Combination of Processes That Create a New Imprinting Process. PPAI Awards Committee members, along with representatives from the Printing Industries of America and the Jewelers Association, judged the entries according to criteria specific to each of the competition’s 25 categories.

Gordon Sinclair Names Rodriguez Vice President Sales and Marketing
January 1, 2010 - New Hyde Park, NY- Gordon Sinclair President Rachel Halpern announced the appointment of industry veteran Ray Rodriguez to the newly created position of Vice President Sales and Marketing for this promotional products supplier company based in New Hyde Park, NY. The appointment is effective January 1, 2010.
"We are excited to have Ray on our team as we advance into 2010. Ray’s vast experience and contacts within the promotional products industry strengthens our corporate goal of reaching a higher level of sales and marketing," commented Jennifer Gluck, Gordon Sinclair’s Executive Director Operations. Gluck continued, "Ray will develop, implement and oversee all sales and marketing initiatives in the US market. Supporting our continuing efforts to further the growth of our business, Ray will focus on motivating and developing our network of sales representatives as they educate Gordon Sinclair distributors on the scope of our innovative line of quality products." Rodriguez will report to Jennifer Gluck, and will operate out of the company’s New York corporate offices.
Rodriguez, listed in The Counselor Magazine’s ‘People to Watch/Today’s Movers and Shakers’, is a 30 year veteran of the promotional products industry. Most notably he was the founder of Multiline Marketing Group. From 1988 to 2005, when he sold the company to partner Jeff Stepp, Multiline was recognized as the largest supplier representative firm in the industry, with 15 regional offices and over $50 million in annual revenue. Multiline focused on developing sales and marketing strategies for industry supplier clients. Its success was attributed to a unified national sales and marketing approach that simplified management and increased sales for its supplier lines. Prior to Multiline, Rodriguez served as National Sales Director for industry supplier BIC Graphic in their US and Caribbean markets. Most recently, from 2005 to 2009, Rodriguez worked with Sarasota Development Corporation where he managed site development while marketing and brokering its large commercial and residential properties in Sarasota, Florida.
Stated Rodriguez, "Through my broad experience in the promotional products industry, I understand what brings end users to the sales table, and how to take full advantage of the qualities that has made Gordon Sinclair a great company.
